Event Summary:
The Arizona U.S. Export Assistance Center's BORDER TRADE INITIATIVE invites companies to participate in SELLING TO MEXICO'S MAQUILADORAS 101, a one-day program designed to prepare U.S. firms to develop sales in Mexico's large manufacturing sector. SELLING TO MEXICO'S MAQUILADORAS 101 will include: * An onsite briefing from Mexican Immigration and Customs about business visas and clearing U.S. goods; * Tours of Nogales, Sonora's two largest maquiladora shelter plant operations; * Industry-focused presentations addressing maquiladora fundamentals such as the competitive environment, purchasing decisions, quality, logistics, and more. * Bus transportation from Phoenix and Tucson to Nogales, Sonora; and, * Lunch.
